This online course will let you deep dive into the more than 90 Individual Fundamentals per Player Position. All these fundamentals are born after an exhaustive study of the most common and relevant situations a player faces during a game depending on his/her position on the field. We will study the best possible ways to answer those situations, to ensure the better chances of success to the players.
You will have access to any content related with the player/structure we dictate in our in- class program Master in High Performance in Football. All of this will be available online to any student, giving him/her a new learning methodology through the use of gamification and Mati’s teammates story.

Course structure
The structure of the course is divided into 6 different modules in which each position is analyzed: central defender, fullbacks, holding midfielders, wingers, offensive midfielder and center forward.
In each of these modules the fundamentals will be presented and described, small tests will be carried out to put them into practice and then take action with more complex exercises. Finally, there will be a final challenge, analyzing these fundamentals during a live match.
At the end of each module, small challenges will be opened with the intention of sharing and discussing with the other students of our community.
This module introduces the different perspectives used to understand player training. It defines individual tactics, explains our interpretation of them, and links them to the position-specific individual fundamentals addressed in later modules.
This module examines the most frequent situations encountered by central defenders in matches and the optimal solutions based on studied patterns. Students will also practice recognizing these situations and assessing the execution of central defender fundamentals.
This module examines the typical match situations for fullbacks and the optimal solutions based on studied patterns. Students will also practice recognizing these situations and assessing the execution of fullback fundamentals.
This module examines the typical match situations for holding midfielders and the optimal solutions based on studied patterns. Students will also practice recognizing these situations and assessing the execution of holding midfielder fundamentals.
This module examines the typical match situations for wingers and the optimal solutions based on studied patterns. Students will also practice recognizing these situations and assessing the execution of winger fundamentals.
