In the Youth Football Expert course you will learn to identify, know and adapt to the sports reality the psychopedagogical principles of football training in the formative stage. You’ll know the MBP methodology in depth, learning how to plan, according to the evolutionary hase of your players, the different contents and concepts over the season to ultimately design and implement the different didactical strategies that represent them.

You will know how to integrate the functions of the coach in values education. You’ll learn, besides, how to adopt an evolutionary view on physical preparation, with a focus on the players’ psychomotor development, how to contextualize conditional work inside the technical, tactical and collective game training and how to identify the basis of sensory training and its working based on evaluative techniques focused on generating metacognitive learning.

Ultimately, you’ll learn to observe the game with tactical intentions and to use a game model suitable for the formative stages in football.

Description

This course is structured in seven modules which will allow you to understand football as a field of study.

This course is structured in five modules which will allow you to understand all the psychopedagogical principles for football training in formative stages and their practical application.

You’ll learn which are the contents to train in each ludological stage and how to schedule them through the season. In addition, you’ll know the theoretical models in the formative stage and the formative football analysis.

We’ll learn how to carry out a training session and to design the most adequate tasks for each content and formative stage. Besides, we’ll delve into the MBP method through a global study of the teaching-learning process in football.

We’ll explore the role of formative football as a tool for transmitting values and the team as a learning community, seeing a practical proposal too.

We’ll study psychomotility, the different dimensions of the motor skills and their development, the role of physical preparation in a session, cognitive training and the creation of tasks for motor development.

We’ll know the individual tactics, the game model for different categories (soccer with 5, 7 and 9 players) and we’ll approach sensory training with a focus on the methodological strategies for the youth.

Before finishing, the coach will have to give a report summarizing the learning outcomes of the course.
