In October 2018, Atletico Mineiro and MBP School of Coaches started collaborating, with the main goal of creating a unique method for the club: The Galo Method. 

This process kicked off with a process of reflection, study and co-creation to organize knowledge within the Club in order to understand the context and requirements of the new Galo Method. During the creation of the Galo Method the MBP School Director, Eduard Fortet, travelled multiple times to be present in-person and work together with the Atletico Mineiro Staff. 

After a whole year and passing the IPPM® process (Identity, Planning, Programming and Methodology) the Galo Method was ready to be implemented starting at the U11 category. The Galo Method was the beginning of a new era in the Atletico Mineiro’s Youth Academy, all the coaches are speaking currently the same language and have the same way of thinking. 

As of today, MBP School of Coaches is still involved within the club in order to follow-up the Galo Method and make the necessary adjustments and contribution if necessary. In the following article you can read in detail the full IPPM® process.
