Alexis Moreno finished the Master in High Performance Soccer of MBP School of Coaches last April and is currently the first coach of La Paz FC, team of the Mexican Liga Premier.

1. What was the motivation to come to Barcelona to study with us? Did it meet your expectations?

My reason was mainly to evolve, I was in a very good moment in the professional, working for several consecutive seasons at a good level but I felt that I needed instruction and that he needed learning of another type, especially at the methodological level. The master exceeded my expectations because I not only managed to evolve as a coach but also as a person.

2. What would you highlight from the Master in High Performance Soccer you did?

I highlight 3 things: the first the contents, it is difficult to have access in Mexico to information such as that given by MBP, the second the way of transmitting the contents, the teachers are highly qualified and with a pedagogy in which everyone learns to their way, in which there are no absolute truths and in which it is a round trip of ideas, and third, the human quality of the staff, they make you feel at home and they are always there for what one occupies not only within the living room lessons.

3. What do you think has helped more MBP?

It is difficult to choose only one aspect but I think that in the design of drills and in being able to observe the micro details and thus analyze it and train it better

4. When and why did you decide to enter the world of football and what made you continue with it?

I decide to go to do the coach course at age 18, the reality is that I always liked the other part of football more, not so much playing it, I never saw myself a football player, my interest was always to lead a group. He made me continue with this, to date, mainly the support of my family, the support of people that you know and find in the teams that are pushing you and encouraging you to continue and follow and in that process they were facilitated to me a lot of things to advance division and position very fast.

5. How would you define yourself as a coach? Use 3 words

Pragmatic, Adaptable and Worker

6. What is the most important decision you have made to get closer to fulfilling your dreams?

Probably 3, the first: leaving the university to devote 100 percent to training, the second: temporarily taking the role of analyst and stop training, that later allowed me to get everything else and advance category and the third: which is what I am living right now, which is to become a main coach and take a path of my own.

7. Is there a key moment in your professional career that you want to highlight?

I think the best is yet to come, I have a lot of faith, I am absolutely satisfied with what I have done so far but with immense assurance that my path is just beginning, I think I have a promising future.
