MBP School and the Dominican Football Federation sign a three-year agreement to initially offer the D license from the Dominican Football Federation to interested coaches. The project will be developed with a minimum of three annual editions, each lasting eight weeks, with the first edition scheduled for next April. “It’s another federation that trusts MBP, and that’s why we are committed to offering the best possible training to these professionals,” emphasizes Thomas Vanderbusche, business manager at MBP.

The license is structured into five modules:

What does it means to be a coach?

Stages of understanding the game

Training content and instructions

Training session

Didactic strategies

Gerard Font, coordinator of the Federations department at MBP School, points out that among the general objectives is “to create a solid foundation regarding the introduction to football through a method, as well as a new pedagogical approach that involves and commits the coach.”

Upon completion of the license, students will have skills to identify the characteristics of players starting in football, classify players into different sub-stages, and design appropriate training tasks to seek meaningful learning. All students will have access to the online platform for content, training tasks, and other tools.

For Daniel Pabón, “this agreement represents an important step in the development of football in the country, where we will have quality training and greater accessibility. In the federation, we are proud to make this alliance, as we firmly believe in continuous training and in providing our trainers with the necessary tools to promote the growth of football in the Dominican Republic.”
